The Air Jordan 4 Retro "Taupe Haze" is an understated colorway designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1989. The upper features a dark taupe finish consisting of textured suede mixed with cracked leather on the collar, tongue and fenders. Contrasting black is found on the laces, plastic wings and heel tab, the latter marked with an embossed Jumpman logo. A second Jumpman icon is rendered in infrared on the tongue label, matching the interior lining of the tongue. A two-tone PU midsole provides lightweight cushioning with a visible air unit at the heel and encapsulated air at the forefoot.
