The Air Jordan 4 Retro NRG "Raptors" shares its name with the OG colorway of the Air Jordan 7, both featuring cowhide construction and black, red and purple hues. the 4 differs from the 7 in that it drops the charcoal gray paneling that was released in 1992 and also adds a speckled midsole. However, the name "Raptors" is not entirely orthodox, and the Toronto Raptors did not exist until 1995.
