The Air Jordan 4 Retro ''Motorsports'' was inspired by the friends and family colorway created for the 4th anniversary of MJ''s Motorsport''s Racing Team in 2006. Released to the public in March 2017, the sneaker features the team''s white, black and varsity royal blue colors, but removes the Mars Blackmon heel accents from the 2006 sneaker. A few months later, an Air Jordan 4 Retro "Motorsports Alternate" was released in a black colorway.
